The Essay

The ancient or alternative treatments being practiced for a long time, are now more and more preferred by people vis-a-vis regular doctors. According to me, this is a positive development since alternative Ayurvedic medicines are showing good results in curing people.

Firstly, many severe diseases are being healed by alternative treatments such as cancer or asthama . Where modern medicines do not show improvements for some people, these alternative methods have proven successful in curing people. Many people use ayurvedic and naturopathic medicines on a regular basis to maintain a healthy lifestyle. For example, during the coronavirus pandemic, many people started using alternative medicines so as to elevate their immunity.

Secondly, many people who regularly consume normal medicines observe its negative impacts in the long run. On the contrary, these natural treatments work effectively sans any harmful outcome. According to the latest medical research, it is found that people on regular Allopathic medication, have to deal with its negative effects as well. In addition, it harms the body by making it obese and unhealthy.

On the other hand, there are many acute diseases where treatment has to be administered immediately such as a heart attack, where alternate treatments are clearly ineffective. In such cases, modern treatments have the ability to deal with the critical medical situations unlike alternative medications.

To conclude, it is true that an increasingly large number of people are trying out alternative medication rather than consulting the usual doctors. However, I believe that this is a positive development considering the advantages it has delivered to the users in more ways than one.
