However, there are many problems with this arrangement and you find it
very difficult to work.
Write a letter to the accommodation officer at the college. In your letter
• describe the situation
• explain your problems and why it is difficult to work
• say what kind of accommodation you would prefer

Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter to evince my displeasure and register my indignation with regard to my college accommodation. I currently stay in College hostel, Room 401, Building 2 and share the room with one of my classmates.
My room partner is a native and has many friends and relatives nearby, therefore there are several visitors meeting him, in my room round the clock. It is hard to get any personal space for study with the entire crowd near me, especially with loud music and late night parties that are very annoying. On the contrary, my roommate is unorganised and garrulous and parties most of the time, disturbing my routine.
Therefore, I request to be allotted a single occupancy room in the left wing, since I have to appear for my board exams this year. Hence, I need a tranquil and salubrious environment, to concentrate on my studies and accomplish my goals of higher education next year.
