The Essay:
If the female gender were given ownership of leadership, the world would be a much superior place. I completely agree with this view since women are more compassionate, service oriented and not prone to violence.
First, unlike men, most women have a softer heart and tend to solve challenges with skill and tact, avoiding direct conflict. Whereas men normally react instantly to adverse circumstances or people, women respond. For instance, the queen Ahilyabai in the central province in India in the seventeenth century, successfully ruled a large kingdom, fending off Mughal kings tactfully. Her glory is still echoes in the annals of Indian history.
Second, women are natural leaders and servers in the domestic front or workplace, looking after the larger interests of members, often sacrificing their own needs. There are examples galore of women leaders who have taken their companies or nations to great heights. Queen Elizabeth of England, Jecinda Ardern the present Prime Minister of New Zealand, Indira Nooyi of PepsiCo and Nirmala Seetharaman the Finance Minister of India amongst others, have been hailed as great leaders by their people.
Nevertheless, some believe that the world would not be a better place with women at the top, since they are emotional and not rational in decision making. They argue that men on the other hand, are greater leaders, powerful physically and intellectually and act objectively, rising above emotions.
To conclude, according to me, the planet would become better when females own leadership powers, owing to their spirit of service and compassion, although few think men would be more effective leaders.
