The chart below shows one country’s exports in various categories during 2015 and 2016

The given bar graph depicts the export earnings of a country in various categories during 2015 and 2016, while the table illustrates the percentage of change in values in the two years. The largest export earnings were from petroleum products.

It can be seen that the highest export earnings is of petroleum products, around $60 billion in 2015 with a small rise (3%) in 2016. The second largest export income was from engineered goods, between $50 to $60 billion in 2015 that rose by 8.5% in the next year.  Apart from this, the export revenues from gems and jewellery was around $44 billion, whereas in 2016 it dropped by 5.18%.  

However, agriculture products export earnings were a little over $30 billion in both years with a rise of just 0.81%. Moreover, the textile export generated was about $26 billion and had the highest rise of 15.24% the following year.

Overall, the export earnings of petroleum products was about double that of textiles, although the growth in textiles was five times more than petroleum in 2016.
