The Answer:
Dear Mr. John,
I am writing in connection with the job vacant in your restaurant. I would like to remind you that recently, when I was coming back from Chennai to Gurgaon on TATA Airlines, flight number 306, I was sitting next to you. We had an engaging conversation at that time, when you offered me a possible job in one of your restaurants. You had asked me to get in touch with you.
I am keen to take up the role of a branch manager at your restaurant. This job would excite me apart from proving me an opportunity to utilise my qualifications and similar experience.
I am a graduate in Hotel Management from Kurukshetra University and passed out in 2012. Apart from this, I have a couple of years experience in dealing with customers and staff. Moreover, for the past five years I had been working in the globally renowned chain KFC, designated as an assistant manager. All of this makes me a perfect match for your organisation.
I look forward to a favourable response in this regards.
Yours sincerely,
Vikas Saini
