The Essay
A segment of individuals believe that teaching about parenting at a young age, within the educational setup, would be a fine idea. I vouch for the given opinion.
Firstly, parenting lessons to students would help in moulding them into ideal parents later in life. They would develop a sense of responsibility from the beginning itself. It is often found that parents are struggling with their children due to lack of knowledge in dealing with their new found role. Therefore, tips to students for being an ideal parent for their next generation would be a beneficial step towards good parenting later on.
Secondly, being taught about parenting in school will not just make them a better human being, but also foster a deeper relationship with their parents. By stepping into their shoes, albeit simulated or just as a role play, young ones can learn about what they need to keep in mind as an adult. Additionally, this would lead towards greater respect for their father and mother.
Nevertheless, nurturing children requires the skill of patiently handling them with tolerance and understanding. Parents need to cope up and be tolerant towards the immaturity, naughtiness and inquisitiveness of their children, over and over again. Moreover, compassion and a positive approach is paramount in the upbringing of little ones. Notwithstanding their innumerable errors and failures, they should ever be encouraged to tread and shown the right path.
To conclude, I believe, imparting the knowledge of parenting at an early stage to children, would make them future ready, shaping them into good parents. Furthermore, patience and positivity amongst parents are critical in raising their young ones.
