The Essay
Academic qualifications is deemed to be always the cause of success by few, as opposed to others who think that it is not so. Qualifications facilitate achievement of success and hence the belief.
Advocates of the opinion that acquiring education brings victory every time, contend that all those who are qualified academically are successful in some way. They quote examples of successful chief executive officers of global corporate giants, such as Mr.Sunder Pitchai of Google or Ms.Indra Nooyi of PepsiCo, who passed out of renowned universities of higher learning earning coveted degrees.
On the other hand, a broad vision and deep driving determination and perseverance, have proven to catapult one to the pinnacle of triumph, even in the absence of academic certifications. There are examples galore in the world around us, where these traits stand out as the reason for noteworthy achievements. For instance, Mr. Bill Gates, the founder of the software behemoth Microsoft, is a school dropout, as is commonly known, yet he succeeded in building a thriving organisation.
Furthermore, risk taking ability and not educational qualifications, is a key factor to walk the hall of victory. To exemplify, what cannot be accomplished by a qualified engineer was done by an ordinary person with boldness and farsightedness, as in the case of Henry Ford who came up with the first motor car.
To conclude, according to me, educational certificates do not always lead to success. On the other hand, qualities of being focused, a certain daring and never say die approach are more conducive to winning.
